Ashtine Olviga gets candid on qualities she wants for her real-life leading man

Breakout actress Ashtine Olviga revealed the qualities she is looking for her real-life leading man on the fifth episode of The Philippine STAR’s On The Rise on YouTube.

For Ashtine, besides the physical attractiveness of a man, she is more inclined to focus on one’s attitude.

Diba?”

When asked about her love language, she answered all of them— Words of Affirmation, Acts of Service, Receiving Gifts, Quality Time, and Physical Touch.

“Feeling ko lahat. Kailangan natin ibigay lahat. Kahit hindi sobra, basta nabibigay mo pantay-pantay or paminsan-minsan. Alam mo ‘yun? Kasi may hirap ‘yung may pagsisihan ka,” she firmly shared.

Ashtine rose to fame after getting a lead role and being paired with Andres Muhlach in the series “Ang Mutya ng Section E.”

Before and after audition, nag-pre-pray ako.

According to Ashtine, she became closer with Andres while filming their first movie together, “Minamahal.”

She even rated their closeness with a 10 after filming their movie. “I think 10. Because, wala.

So, kapag may mga scene na kinakabahan ako or kailangan kong mag-focus. Na-pressure ako nung una kasi nagulat ako talaga,” Ashtine shared.

As she looks back on her 25 years in the entertainment industry, she admitted that she almost quit after joining several P-pop groups before transitioning to supporting roles and finally landing her big break in “Ang Mutya Ng Section E.”

Bukod sa work naman, gusto ko makapag-travel naman ako with my family,” she added.

She is now considered as one of the next generation’s rising stars. She is also part of the upcoming MMFF entry “Manila’s Finest.”
