Some members of K-pop girl group TWICE were playfully “arrested” by American pop star Sabrina Carpenter during her set at Lollapalooza 2025 — all because of being “too hot.”
The now-viral moment took place during Carpenter’s performance at the recently concluded Lollapalooza 2025 music festival in Chicago, where the latter and the group were both part of its roster of performers.
As part of a recurring “tradition” in her “Short n’ Sweet” tours, Sabrina theatrically “arrests” stunning audience members right before launching into her hit song “Juno.”
The TWICE members will be joining Hollywood stars Salma Hayek and Millie Bobby Brown who have been the previous subjects of the so called “Juno arrests.”
“We have some beautiful people in this audience tonight, but there are three girls I can’t take my eyes off of,” said the “Espresso” singer, as cameras panned to the idols on the big screen.
“I was gonna say, ’cause I had to look not once, but twice,” she quipped, a pun to the K-pop group’s name.
“Are you guys single, by chance?” she asked, prompting the trio to wave and blow kisses at her.
“Would you guys want to get married, maybe? If I were to give you these handcuffs, then I could marry all three of you, right?” she teased, before handing over pairs of her signature pink fuzzy handcuffs, blowing them a kiss, and launching into her next song.
TWICE later posted a photo of the three showing off the handcuffs, along with a sweet message for the Sabrina.
Their previous interaction took place in 2023, when Carpenter presented TWICE with “Breakthrough Artist” award at the Billboard Women in Music Awards.
Meanwhile, TWICE is gearing up for their “This Is For” tour, with the Philippines among the confirmed stops in Asia.
On Monday, Live Nation Philippines excited Filipino fans fondly known as ONCE by releasing the ticket prices and seat map for the highly anticipated concert, set to take place at the Philippine Arena in Bulacan on October 4.
