It was a Kpop and OPM crossover we didn’t see coming!
Kpop boy group Winner unexpectedly danced to the hit song Tala during its Cross Tour concert at the Mall of Asia Arena on Saturday — and they didn’t disappoint!
PH Inner Circles’ hearts raced when Jinwoo, Mino, Seunghoon and Seungyoon took on Sarah Geronimo’s viral dance craze.
Fans and even non-Kpop fans were amazed at how the all-male group seemingly mastered the choreography.
Seunghoon a.k.a Hoony, main dancer of the group, first had his solo performance of Tala but was later joined by the three other members after he taught them how to do do it.
Sandara Park, who also watched the concert, couldn’t help but be a proud noona and posted videos of the group doing the Tala challenge.
Sandara and Winner are both managed by YG Entertainment.
“Ang galing galing mo Teacher Seunghoon!!! @maetamong ?????????? at ang galing ng Winner!!! Ang cute!!! Panalo! Solid!!! ?✌?✌?????,” said Dara in an Instagram post.
And it appears that she was the one who introduced Tala to the boys!
“…sinend ko lang ang isang video and kuha agad nya lahat ng dance steps!!! Watch this Abs-cbn. Viral na itow~,” revealed Sandara on Twitter.
Teacher Georcelle Dapat-Sy, creative director of G-Force, the people behind the famous Tala choreo, commended the boy group’s dance cover.
“Aaaaaaaaaa!!! This is insane!!! Are you next?! ???,” she replied to Dara’s Instagram post.
Winner held its first solo concert in Manila last November 2018. They are known for hit songs Really Really, Everyday, Empty and Millions.
