SB19 member Stell will no longer be participating in Regine Velasquez-Alcasid’s highly anticipated “RESET” concert due to a “scheduling conflict”.
The P-pop idol was initially announced as one of the guest performers for the Asia’s Songbird’s show on February 21 at the Samsung Performing Arts Theater in Circuit Makati. The concert series will also run on February 12, 14, and 22.
In a statement released by the production company behind the concert, iMusic Entertainment, it cited “miscommunication by our production manager” as the reason.
“Unfortunately, we were unaware of this situation at the time of the press conference and announcement. It was only afterward that all parties involved were able to resolve the misunderstanding regarding the scheduled guest appearance,” the statement read.
The management also addressed fans who were eager to see Stell perform alongside Regine, acknowledging their disappointment.
“We understand that many of you were looking forward to seeing Stell perform live with Regine at the concert, and we share in your disappointment. Please know that we are equally saddened by this unexpected change and sincerely apologize for any inconvenience it may cause,” it added.
To address fans’ concerns, the company offered refunds to those who purchased tickets specifically “hoped to see Stell perform live with Regine” at the concert.
Meanwhile, the iconic songstress reacted to the news by sharing iMusic’s statement on Instagram.
“Well, I’m a little disappointed but…….😊 see you guys,” Velasquez wrote.
