Veteran entertainment reporter Ogie Diaz stirred up another storm of speculations involving actress Kathryn Bernardo and another one of her alleged suitors, Can’t Buy Me Love star Donny Pangilinan.
In the latest episode of his vlog, Ogie discussed the young actor’s alleged romantic pursuit in the past.
According to the host, Donny allegedly courted Kathryn in the past after her split with her former reel and real-life boyfriend Daniel Padilla.
“How true? Eh minsan pala eh pinormahan nitong isang young actor si Kathryn. As in niligawan… [Nung] wala na si Daniel at si Kathryn,” the showbiz reporter claimed.
The revelation prompted Ogie to recall a viral interaction between the two Kapamilya stars during a party where Donny was seen offering the actress a drink.
“Eh ’di ba, ’yung dati, ’di ba nag-viral pa ’yon, ’yung inaalok pa si Kathryn ng ano, softdrinks, kasi baka nakainom si Kathryn, pampababa ng tama or something… ’Di ba, yung inalok siya ng softdrinks,” said Diaz.
Ogie further stated that it is up to Donny whether he’ll admit to his courtship in the past, adding that he might have slipped up in revealing such information.
“Basta, ’yun yung nakarating lang sa akin. Ngayon, na kay Donny… Ay ano ba ’yan, nadulas tuloy ako. Hindi, nasa kanya na ’yon kung gusto niyang aminin yan, na minsan pinormahan niya si, or niligawan niya si Kathryn. Kaya lang naudlot,” the host explained.
Diaz, however, did not reveal the reason why the actor didn’t push through with his romantic pursuit, alleging that it might not have led to a positive outcome.
“’Yung rason kung bakit naudlot, hindi ko alam. Baka naman nai-stop na talaga kasi nga wala rin namang magandang patutunguhan.”
Meanwhile, it can be recalled Ogie also recently revealed that Kapuso star Alden Richards, Kathryn’s co-star in the box-office film “Hello, Love, Goodbye”, and actor-singer Jericho Rosales, are both allegedly vying for the award-winning actress’ affection at the moment.
As of writing, both Donny and Kathryn have yet to react or comment on the latest allegation.
