Kris Aquino opened up about her hopes for her youngest son Bimby’s future love life.
The “Queen of All Media” made her much-awaited television comeback on her longtime friend Boy Abunda’s talk show, “Fast Talk with Boy Abunda,” appearing in the first part of the show’s two-part special that aired on Wednesday, Oct. 28.
Among the personal topics they discussed was Kris’ vision for the woman who would eventually become her son’s girlfriend.
“Ipinagdadasal ko talaga, sana maganda ‘yung girl,” she told Abunda.
“I’m sorry. I know it sounds na parang, ‘Wow. She hasn’t changed. Medyo mababaw!’ Pero ‘di ba, Boy, kasi Bimb is the one who will carry on the Cojuangco-Aquino last name,” Kris explained.
“Gusto ko naman talaga ‘yung mga magiging anak nila given na I’m sure maganda ‘yung pagpapalaking gagawin niya,” she added. “I’m sure hindi siya magmamahal ng someone na pangit ang ugali.”
“Pero you know baka magpa-cute-cute lang tapos nag-make-up, eh paano ‘pag nawala ‘yung make-up? Tapos ‘di s’ya ganoon kaganda?”, she stressed.
Her remarks prompted Abunda to react, “Alam mo, ikaw? Kagagalitan tayo ni Bimb.”
Aquino was quick to clarify her statement, saying, “No, no, no, no. So far, all the girls that I’ve met, all are pretty and all are smart.”
The television appearance marked another milestone in Aquino’s gradual return to the public eye as she continues to undergo treatment for her autoimmune diseases.
In recent months, she has made a few appearances in advertisements, with her reunion with Abunda marking one of her first television appearances in years.
