Zanjoe Marudo and Ria Atayde have finally tied the knot.
The actor revealed the big news on Monday, posting an Instagram carousel that featured photos from their civil wedding ceremony to greet the actress on her birthday.
The post included their happy photos as groom and bride and a three-layer wedding cake.
“Happy Birthday MY WIFE,” Zanjoe addressed Ria as his wife in capital letters, alongside Ria’s birthday, 03.23.24, in the caption.
Fellow celebrities including Jake Ejercito, Maine Mendoza, Patrick Garcia, and Janne Oineza then showered the newly-wed couple with warm greetings.
Ria’s younger sister Gela Atayde, meanwhile, commented: “Welcome to the family, kuya ❤.”
Gela previously denounced speculations that her ate is already expecting a baby with Zanjoe.
“For me, I can’t say much yet. For now, no. They’re trying that’s for sure. My sister has PCOS and it would be a miracle if she has a child. Well, at least my parents also are supportive for that my sister nga kasi is at the age — turning 32 this year medyo kailangan na din,” Gela said in an interview with ABS-CBN News.
The couple first revealed their engagement last February.
