Sarah Lahbati dismissed a misleading quote that seemed to be pitting her against her mother-in-law Anabelle Rama, amid breakup rumors with her husband Richard Gutierrez.
A now-deleted quoted card showing Sarah saying Richard supposedly got “brainwashed” by his mom and leaving a marriage advice circulated online.
The full quoted text read:
“I’m grateful that I married Richard because he’s truly a husband material and father figure.
“It seems he got brainwashed, that’s why he changed. I can’t stand the fact that my mother-in-law, you’d think, was not well taken care of by her husband before.
“My advice to those planning to get married, get to know your future in-laws so you won’t end up like me.”
Sarah, however, took to her Instagram broadcast channel to make clear that the now-deleted card is “fake news”.
Her message read, “Hey everyone! Just wanted to clear something and this is the last time (hopefully) that I’ll have to do this.
“Please beware of fake news. I never said this. Hope everyone has a blessed week ahead.
Sarah’s clarification comes following Anabelle’s cryptic remarks which are allegedly pertaining to her daughter-in-law.
While Anabelle refrained from confirming or denying split rumors between Sarah and Richard, the talent manager recently revealed that her son has been staying with her for a month now.
Sarah and Richard’s two sons are also with the actor.
Anabelle dismissed speculations that she meddled in her son’s relationship with Sarah, saying she wouldn’t want them to separate ways for the sake of her grandchildren.
