K-pop boy band Super Junior’s Kyuhyun reportedly sustained minor injuries after subduing an intruder armed with a knife at a musical venue.
In a report by K-entertainment news outlet, Soompi on Monday, Nov. 20, the artist sustained minor injuries the day before due to an incident involving a woman in her 30s wielding a weapon.
Reports indicated that the assailant illegally entered the dressing room of a musical theater in Seoul where she threatened an actor and Kyuhyun with a weapon. The idol incurred injuries while attempting to restrain her.
In response to the incident, Kyuhyun’s agency, Antenna, stated, “Kyuhyun sustained a minor abrasion on his finger and received immediate treatment at the scene.”
The Seoul Gangseo Police Station arrested the attacker on charges of special intimidation and is currently conducting an investigation into the matter.
