Avril Lavigne’s Head Above Water World Tour in Asia is cancelled.
The Canadian-French singer was supposed to return to Manila on May 20, 2020 at the Araneta Coliseum. (READ: Avril Lavigne to return to Manila in May 2020.)
Avril announced that her team is “unable to tour the Asian markets due to the continuous outbreak of the coronavirus,” on Twitter.
“I am so sad to announce that we are unable to tour the Asian markets due to the continuous outbreak of the coronavirus,” she said.
“My band, crew and I have been working so hard to bring this tour worldwide and are completely bummed out.”
Avril continued on to ask her fans to stay healthy amid the health scare. She also mentioned that she is hoping to announce rescheduled shows soon.
