Kapuso star Mika Dela Cruz took to Instagram to ask prayers for her sick father, Ernie Dela Cruz.
The young actress opened up on how her father’s sudden health condition took them all by surprise.
“Words aren’t enough to express how sad, scared and broken I am right now… Sobrang sakit makita yung kalagayan mo ngayon. Nabigla tayong lahat… Hindi tayo handa,” she wrote.
She also shared that her father’s current situation made her realize how precious every moment with him is.
“Kaya daddy lalakasan ko loob ko, para sayo kasi we still need you. I STILL NEED YOU. pinasa na kita kay LORD sabi ko siya na ang bahala,” she said.
Her older sister, Angelika Dela Cruz, also offered a prayer for their father on Instagram.
“Dear Lord, please heal my father. I love him so much. He is a good friend, a good brother, a good son, he is a good husband, and a good father,” she said.
The older Dela Cruz also said she prays for every child who is in the same situation as her.
“I pray that they will be strong and that you will hear their heart’s desires. Every child needs a Father and I need mine,” she wrote.
“Lord we are nothing without you, someday we will all rest in heaven with you but Lord God I’m begging you please give my Father long life and heal him. In Jesus name. Amen,” she ended.
