Sam Milby admitted to being “super kilig” after getting a surprise birthday greeting from rumored girlfriend Miss Universe 2018 Catriona Gray.
In a Facebook Live by Sam’s talent management agency Cornerstone Entertainment dubbed Lunch with the Stars on Friday, John Prats and Pooh co-hosted a special birthday episode for Sam who turned 36 years old today.
Moira Dela Torre, Yam Concepcion, Say Alonzo and Sam’s nieces were among those who wished the actor a “happy birthday” during the show.
Meanwhile, Sam got surprised and smiled from ear to ear after watching Catriona’s video greeting.
“Hey, Sam! Happy, happy birthday. I hope that you have an amazing year ahead. More birthdays. More happiness. You are loved by so, so many,” greeted Catriona.
John Prats and Pooh could not help but tease Sam, who was obviously thrilled over Catriona’s greeting, and asked for the singer-actor’s reaction.
“Uhm… Hi, nahiya ako…Thank you for your greeting… uhm… uhm… yeah… Nahiya ako. ‘Di ko alam kung anong sasabihin ko,” said a shy and stuttering Sam.
“Basta I am kilig sa message, super kilig sa message. Hindi ko inexpect talaga na may message. Thank you and yes, you’re very special, very special,” added Sam.
The two became romantically linked after photos of them hanging out together circulated online in 2019.
In a Tonight With Boy Abunda interview in February, Catriona denied being courted by the Kapamilya actor, saying that they are just friends.
“We go to the same church, we’re under the same management, so friend naman siya,” Catriona said.
