Two years ago, Phil Younghusband had a magical Christmas when he announced he was engaged to Filipina-Spanish model Margaret Hall.
It seems like December is going to be magical once again for the Filipino-British football player. Phil has just announced on Instagram that he and his wife are expecting their first child.
“We are expecting a new addition to the Younghusband family in the Summer of 2020. Mags has just entered her second trimester and so far, she is doing really well,” he wrote.
Phil shared it has always been their dream to become parents. Now that their dream is being fulfilled, the couple feels “truly blessed by the Lord.”
“We hope to be half as good as parents as our Mothers and Fathers have been to us and those parents we have surrounded ourselves with,” Phil said.
His wife Margaret also took to Instagram to share how thrilled they are for a baby Younghusband.
Margaret’s caption read: “Carrying a baby is the most incredible feeling and we are so grateful for this beautiful miracle. We are so blissfully happy and we will not take this blessing for granted.”
