Maymay Entrata and Edward Barber will soon be exercising their right to vote.
The former Pinoy Big Brother (PBB) housemates and love team partners were accompanied by TV host Robi Domingo at the Office of the Election Officer.
“Dati sila ang binoboto niyo sa PBB. Ngayon sila naman ang boboto para sa kinabukasan,” Robi wrote in an Instagram post.
Meanwhile, Edward encouraged the public to register to vote as well.
“Make sure you do too! Let’s change the course of our nation and write OUR OWN history,” he said.
The Commission on Elections (COMELEC) announced that voter registration resumes on September 1.
On Comelec Resolution 10674, the poll body said the resumption of registration of voters will begin on the first day of September, “except in areas under enhanced community quarantine (ECQ).”
The agency said they will institutionalize preventive health measures as they adopt the new normal. They will also implement a “no face mask and shield, no registration” rule.
