Pinoy dance team Electro Groovers places first at international dance competition

Filipino dance crew Electro Groovers brought pride to the country after being hailed as champions of the Junior Division of the World of Dance last Saturday, August 12, in Anaheim, California.

The group competed against other countries including Japan, New Zealand, Mexico, USA, Canada, Spain, and Panama. Japanese teams Ark Kids came in the second while Kirameki landed third. Meanwhile, their fellow Filipino competitors Indak and WoodRose placed seventh and ninth respectively.

They are the first Philippine team to lead the ranks at the Junior Division of World of Dance. This marks their advancement to the World Finals, the highest level of the competition.

Electro Groovers expressed their gratitude to the media and sports organizations including MediaQuest, Cignal, sports application Pilipinas Live, and talent management arm MQuest Ventures who helped compete in the international dance championship.

World of Dance is an international dance competition where dance teams from all over the world are invited to compete in the Annual World of Dance Finals held for the first time in the Anaheim Convention Center.
