Saab Magalona honors son Pancho’s past nurses

On International Nurses Day, Saab Magalona honored the nurses who took care of her son Pancho when he was still a newborn.

The celebrity mom shared that these nurses were the ones who looked after her son for over 60 days in the neonatal intensive care unit (NICU).

“Today is International Nurses Day and I want to honor all of Pancho’s past nurses, especially the ones that took such great care of him in St Luke’s NICU for over 60 days after he was born,” she wrote.

Back in February 2018, Pancho lost his twin sister Luna in their mom’s womb. In an attempt to save him, doctors had to perform emergency surgery.

Following his birth, he was confined in the NICU for various complications, including an intraventricular hemorrhage.

In the throwback photos, Saab shared snaps of Pancho and the all-women group of nurses.

“I am so so so grateful for the patience, the hard work, the literal INTENSIVE CARE that these wonderful nurses gave my baby boy. THANK YOU,” she said.

The 32-year-old also shared a screenshot from a few days ago when one of her nurses reached out to her and wished her well.

“You are all part of our survival and why we are a happy family today. We love you!! Thank you to all the nurses around the world,” she ended.
