Kim Chiu recently read and reacted to mean comments about her, as requested by fans, to celebrate her two million subscribers on YouTube.
In a new vlog, the actress gamely responded to to hate comments randomly picked by her digital team from Twitter and her YouTube channel.
Throughout the vlog, Kim jokingly called the netizens who made the brutal remarks against her “bully”.
“Ano bang problema ninyo? Wala namang tanga. Sadyang may mga tao talagang nagkakamali lang, di ba?” Kim Chiu replied to those who repeatedly called her stupid.
She continued, “Tsaka ‘yung mga pagkakamali na ‘yun, it will help you grow. It will thicken your character in life. It will make you strong yung mga pagkakamli natin. Kaya tayo binibigyan ng pagkakamali para matuto tayo. ‘Wag tanga agad.”
One netizen also lambasted her for releasing her accidental hit single Bawal Lumabas earlier this year.
“Ginawa siyang kanta eh. So might as well kumanta na rin ako. Binuo na rin namin. Nasa sa inyo lang rin naman yun kung gusto niyong pakinggan or hindi kasi nagandahan ako eh,” said Kim.
“Gusto ko rin yung lyrics dahil parang come out stronger, inspirational yung kanta kahit na nakakatawa man yung chorus. At least marami yung nakinig. Marami man yung nag-dislike mas marami naman yung naglike.”
Kim also debunked a netizen’s allegation that she made money off the viral song. “Dinonate ko naman ‘yung mga kinita ko doon eh, so ‘di man ako yumaman as in yumaman sa bulsa but yumaman naman ako sa good deed. So, that’s more important.”
She also shrugged off a netizen’s accusation about her real attitude behind the cameras.
“Salbahe ba ako? Grabe ka naman. Depende na lang kung kabitbahay kita or ano pero nakikita ko naman yung mga katrabaho ko yung mga tao namin sa bahay 20 years, 15 years na sila sa amin. I think kung salbahe ako, wala na sila iba-iba na ang tao namin,” she said.
“Naiyak ako, na-hurt ako pero okay lang,” Kim admitted.
