Pokwang, or Marietta Subong in real life, is mourning the death of her 80-year-old mother, Gloria Subong.
On Saturday, the comedienne-actress announced the death of her mother in an emotional goodbye post on Instagram.
I love you soooo much…. ? kung di dahil sa kanya wala ako sa earth para mapasaya kayo ❤️?? salamat nanay kong mahal hanggang sa muling pagkikita #RIPnanayGloria ??,” wrote Pokwang in the caption alongside a photo of her with her mother.
On Twitter, Pokwang related how she faces her fears and the need to go outside to work for her mother despite the COVID-19 threats.
It was in 2016 when Pokwang first revealed that her mother was suffering from Alzheimer’s disease.
Pokwang then said in a Push interview, “Dinadaan ko na lang sa patawa, pero sobrang lungkot ko.
