Are wedding bells ringing for real or reel for KathNiel?
Min Bernardo and Karla Estrada’s recent cryptic Instagram posts had fans of Kapamilya stars Kathryn Bernardo and Daniel guessing on what the couple is up to.
Kathryn’s mom first posted a photo of what looked like embroidered fabric from a bridal gown on the photo-sharing app.
A day after, Daniel’s mom Karla also shared a photo of what seemed to be a wedding invitation card on her Instagram account.
Both matriarchs had the initials K and N with a ring emoji in the middle as their captions.
Some fans of the Kapamilya reel and real couple couldn’t help but hope that Kathryn and Daniel will take the plunge soon.
Last May, KathNiel fans also went into a frenzy after Karla posted wedding rings and beach photo which were assumed as a hint to Kathryn and Daniel’s dream wedding.
But according to a Philstar.com report, a source told them that “there is no wedding happening anytime soon between Kathryn and Daniel”.
For other fans, the stars’ moms are just dropping hints to KathNiel’s upcoming onscreen project, which is reportedly a sitcom.
Early this year, pre-pandemic, they announced that they will be doing two projects together for 2020 — a movie and a teleserye tentatively titled Tanging Mahal — after taking a break from accepting work as a love team in 2019.
