Miss Universe 2018 Catriona Gray has undergone swab testing to relay to the public the importance of getting tested for COVID-19.
“Completed another swab test at Philippine Red Cross and (it’s) empowering knowing that I’m equipped with the knowledge about my status as I continue to be busy with work and different projects,” wrote Catriona in an Instagram post.
The beauty queen said that she’s getting tested not only for herself but also for the safety of the people around her.
“I get tested not just to take care of myself, but to also take care of my family, friends, work colleagues and of our community 
” said Catriona.
She added, “The @philredcross is at the forefront of COVID-19 testing with molecular laboratories all over the country. The need to test, trace and treat is essential in order to flatten the curve.”
Just recently, Catriona was appointed as Philippine Red Cross’ newest ambassador for being the “perfect advocate to show the public that there is a ‘silver lining’ amid the pandemic.”
