Heart Evangelista proudly showed off the “mala K-drama” new library of Sorsogon State College in Sorsogon City on social media.
The actress wife of Sorsogon Governor Francis “Chiz” Escudero offered a glimpse of what looked like an almost-finished, multi-level library of the state-run institution, tagging her husband in her posts on Instagram and Twitter.
Her followers appeared impressed by the look of the library, with some netizens likening it to South Korea’s visually appealing libraries and bookstores that have figured prominently in K-dramas, including Chicago Typewriter, A Korean Odyssey and the more recent ones like The King: Eternal Monarch and It’s Okay To Not Be Okay.
Some netizens were quick to note that the OOTD of the fashionista First Lady of Sorsogon province added to the overall K-drama vibe, particularly reminding them of the female lead character Ko Mun-yeong in It’s Okay To Not Be Okay.
Remember this scene from the series?
Or better yet, this one?
“She’s slaying her outfit like she came out of a K-drama,” one netizen tweeted.
Not to mention it has given them ideas as well of the Kapuso star starring in a possible Pinoy remake — if there aren’t any plans yet.
Meanwhile, apart from this brand-new, Instagrammable facility, the Sorsogon State College will soon be upgraded to university status.
Responding to a comment, Heart revealed: “Actually… it will be soon. My husband authored the law so converting it. Just complying with some CHED requirements.”
