LOOK: Coco Martin’s Instagram account now deactivated

-

It appears that Coco Martin’s Instagram account has been deactivated — at least for the time being.

No reason has been given as to why the Kapamilya actor’s verified account with the username @mr.cocomartin is no longer available.

When searched on the photo-sharing app, the account with 3.5 million followers would not show up.

To recall, the Ang Probinsyano star has been one of the Kapamilya celebrities who strongly criticized the government through his Instagram account following the ordered closure of ABS-CBN by the National Telecommunications Commission last May 5.

The cease and desist order came a day after the media giant’s 25-year congressional franchise expired.

Coco, however, received public backlash after airing his sentiments in support of his home network.

He afterwards apologized for his strong words saying, “Pasensya na po kayo kung may nasabi po kami na galit sa aming dibdib at sana maunawaan niyo din po ‘yon!”

Solicitor General Jose Calida, in a congressional hearing last Monday, June 1, hit back at the actor for blaming him for his home network’s shutdown.

“If I had not been the SolGen, I would have called his bluff and make him eat his words,” said Calida.

Coco’s primetime teleserye Ang Probinsiyano is set to make a comeback on the Kapamilya channel starting June 13.
