Vice Ganda has offered a helping hand to COVID-19 frontliners by donating medical supplies to different public hospitals in the metro.
The It’s Showtime host shared photos of the boxes containing personal protective equipment (PPE) such as N95 masks, medical disposable gloves, safety goggles and alcohol disinfectant spray that were distributed to Lung Center of the Philippines, the Quezon City General Hospital, the San Lazaro Hospital in Manila and the Philippine Children’s Medical Center.
Along the boxes was a printed was a “thank you” message from the comedian to the frontline health workers that read: “MARAMING MARAMING SALAMAT PO SA LAHAT NG MGA FRONTLINERS PARA SA PAGMAMAHAL AT PAGKALINGA NINYO SA MGA MADLANG PEOPLE!!! MABUHAY PO KAYO! PAGPALAIN NG DIYOS ANG INYONG KABAYANIHAN.”
Vice earlier called on the public to show appreciation for the efforts and dedication of the frontliners as they brave the pandemic.
“Pagsaludo at pasasalamat sa lahat ng mga doktor, nurses, mga hospital staff at lahat ng nasa medical field na sinusuong ang peligro para sa ngalan ng serbisyo. God bless you all!” he said in a tweet.
