Auditions are still open for those who would like to be a part of the upcoming Pinoy adaptation of the popular Japanese anime TV series Voltes V.
Voltes V is a Pinoy favorite super robot series that was first aired on GMA way back in 1978.
Director Mark Reyes shared a photo of the room where interested participants can do the audition.
“We resume the search for the V5 team,” he said in an Instagram post on Tuesday.
Direk Mark Reyes is a resident GMA director who is behind Encantadia, Beautiful Justice and Moments of Love.
GMA Network premiered the teaser of the upcoming live-action adaptation early in January 2020.
The one-minute video uploaded on GMA Network’s page has garnered 2.1 million views to date.
According to a GMA report last January 3, GMA’s video graphic department and Riot Inc. — a post-production company doing visual effects, CGI, motion graphics, color grading, video offline & online editing.are in charge of the animation as approved by TOEI.
Toei Animation is a Japanese animation studio that has produced numerous works of animation series including Sailor Moon, Dragon Ball and One Piece.
In an Instagram post dated late December last year, direk Mark shared his excitement of dream project that’s five years in the making.
It was previously rumored that Kapuso celebrities Kyline Alcantara, Ruru Madrid and Mikee Quintos will star in the remake project.
