South Korean celebrity couple Jung Kyung Ho and Girls’ Generation’s Sooyoung have called it quits after 14 years of dating.
As reported by Soompi citing another media outlet on Tuesday, Jung Kyung Ho and Sooyoung have drifted apart due their busy schedules, causing them to part ways.
Sooyoung’s agency SARAM Entertainment confirmed the report, saying in a statement: “It is true that they have broken up. They have decided to remain good colleagues.”
Meanwhile, Jung Kyung Ho’s agency Management Allum echoed: “It is true that they have broken up. As it is a private matter, it is difficult to provide further details.”
The two were known as one of the entertainment industry’s most representative long-term couples, having been together since 2012. The couple only made their relationship public in January 2014.
