What began as an intimate birthday celebration for Daniel Padilla has since turned into what fans are calling the latest “hard launch” of his rumored romance with actress Kaila Estrada.
Daniel marked his 31st birthday on April 26, surrounded by family and close friends. Among those present were his mother, Karla Estrada, and his sisters, Carmella Ford and Magui Ford Planas.
The celebration appeared to be a warm and private gathering, with family and loved ones also sharing heartfelt birthday messages for the actor on social media.
Beyond the family affairs, Kaila Estrada’s presence also caught the attention of fans online. Photos from the event began circulating shortly after, showing the two stars were seen together, often standing close and interacting comfortably with other guests.
The buzz intensified on April 28 when Kaila shared a blurry but intimate snapshot on her Instagram story, showing her wrapped in a warm embrace with Daniel, with the song linked to “Everything Hallelujah” by Justin Bieber.
The lyrics accompanying the post, romantic and affectionate in tone, only fueled further speculation, with fans quickly labeling it a “hard launch” of their relationship.
Additional Instagram stories from Kaila featured more glimpses of the celebration, including photos where she appeared beside Daniel.
A video then surfaced online the following day added another layer to the rumors. In the clip, the two were seen dancing closely together on the dance floor, seemingly lost in their own moment. Daniel was seen leaning in to kiss Kaila on the neck, while she held him tightly.

Observant viewers also noticed that Kaila appeared to mouth the words “I love you” to the actor during their interaction.
Speculation surrounding Daniel and Kaila first emerged last year after working together in the 2025 action series “Incognito.” Since then, the pair have been spotted together multiple times in public, though neither has directly addressed the nature of their relationship.
Adding to this, Kaila’s half-brother, Luigi Muhlach, previously referred to Daniel as his “bayaw” on social media, a Filipino term for brother-in-law.
Despite the viral photos, videos, and mounting fan speculation, neither Daniel nor Kaila has officially confirmed their relationship, leaving their real status open to interpretation.
