Netizens were abuzz after former Pinoy Big Brother housemate Lie Reposposa and her British fiancé Paul Marsden sparked confusion over their relationship after the latter’s cryptic Facebook post seemed to hint at their split.
On Tuesday, April 28, Marsden shared a bittersweet message on Facebook about an “ending” to their story, accompanied by photos of them together, prompting netizens to assume that they have called it quits.
“Thank you for being my peace and my safe place. You helped me stand up when I was down. But every story has an ending, and ours ends here. Thank you for the memories, they will stay forever,” his post read.
At the time, Reposposa did not publicly address the split but instead, penned a birthday greeting to Marsden.
However, four days after Paul’s Facebook post, he later shared cozy photos with Lie on Instagram with the caption, “april ended, we didn’t”, sparking confusion and speculations among online users over the status of their relationship.
Reposposa and Marsden publicized their relationship on Instagram in December 2022.
The couple later made headlines in August 2023 after Reposposa was linked to cheating allegations when a video allegedly showing her kissing another man circulated online. The controversy came just months after the pair announced their engagement in February 2023.
