Viewers were taken by surprise after actresses Angelica Panganiban and Mylene Dizon portrayed a romantic pair in the ABS-CBN and Prime Video mystery series “The Silent Noise.”
In the series, Panganiban portrays Jackie, opposite Zanjoe Marudo’s Anton, who are devoted parents to three children, portrayed by Zaijian Jaranilla, Mutya Orquia and KD Omalin, who plays their deaf son at the center of the story.
Dizon, meanwhile, plays the role of Teacher Sam, one of their youngest child’s school teachers.
Viewers were caught off guard when what initially appeared to be a friendship between Panganiban and Dizon’s characters developed into a romantic relationship in a recent episode.
The reveal, which included a kissing scene between the two characters, quickly became a talking point among netizens, with many expressing surprise over the pairing.
“The Silent Noise” follows the unraveling mystery surrounding the family’s youngest child, whose long-suppressed truth begins to surface after a body is discovered in their quiet town, threatening the fragile peace they have worked hard to maintain.
