Nikko Natividad, Gil Cuerva, Aaron Villaflor, Ron Angeles have broken their silence over individual videos of them in an alleged video scandal that has gone viral on social media.
In a recent interview with Ogie Diaz, Nikko admitted he was the male celebrity featured in one of the leaked videos, expressing remorse and taking responsibility for his misbehavior.
“Sabi ko nga po, walang words na puwedeng magpabawas o mag-cover up sa nagawa ko… Lahat ng ginawa ko is mali. Sa madaling salita, sabi ko sa wife ko, nademonyo ako, natukso, bumigay akom” said the actor.
Nikko recalled the fear and guilt he felt as the video went viral, especially concerning his wife, Cielo Mae Eusebio, and their children:
“After namin mag-dinner [para sa anniversary], nag-phone ako noong madaling-araw. Ang dami na nagme-message, tina-tag na ako, lumalabas na… Wala, kailangan kong pagdaanan ito kasi ginawa ko ito,” he said.
“Takot at takot po ako kasi more on sa galit, nakaramdam pa siya ng awa sa akin… doon ako nag-breakdown,” added the actor.
Actor Gil Cuerva, meanwhile, earlier clarified that the video allegedly involving him was recorded without his consent. He emphasized the violation of his privacy:
“The video being shared online was recorded without my knowledge or consent during a private moment… The use of a hidden camera and the distribution of that recording are serious violations of my privacy and constitute a crime,” Gil wrote on his Instagram page.
On the other hand, actor-turned-politician Arron Villaflor addressed rumors linking him to the video scandal, attributing them to possible political smear campaigns:
“OK ’yan, nakakatulong sa akin… Ay naku, napakadami po [ng smear campaign]. It’s part of the political industry, so depende sa iyo on how you’re gonna react.”
“‘Sabi, ‘Arron, meron ka daw scandal.’ Sabi ko, pakita niyo sa akin. Lahat ng pinapakita nila came from VMX (Vivamax) projects,” Arron said in a recent press conference of action-drama “Pater Noster.”
Meanwhile, actor Ron Angeles seemed to react subtly to the scandal, posting a shirtless photo on Facebook with the caption: “Sanay na akong mahusgahan.”
