Speculation swirled online after the Kapuso actress was noticed unfollowing the former Pinoy Big Brother (PBB) housemate on Instagram while sharing a series of cryptic posts.
While Kate no longer follows Fumiya, eagle-eyed fans observed that the latter still appears to be following the “Encantadia” star.
Adding to the intrigue, Valdez shared quotes and song lyrics on her Instagram Stories about betrayal.
Videos from the couple’s joint TikTok account, “Onigiri Lovers,” were also removed. The account’s profile photo was replaced with a black image, while its bio was updated to the cryptic line, “the plot of 2026,” accompanied by a tea emoji.
The page was left with only one remaining video showing a black screen, prompting users to speculate about the reason behind the sudden deletion of content.
In the comments section, one netizen asked, “Hiwalay na?”, a comment the account appeared to have left a like on, further adding fuel to split rumors.
Kate confirmed her relationship with Fumiya in August 2024. She previously dated actor Yasser Martaa but broke up in 2023.
