Dennis Trillo has strongly defended his wife Jennylyn Mercado amid circulating claims about her relationship with her in-laws.
In a Facebook post, Dennis described Jennylyn as “isa sa pinakamabuting tao sa buhay ko,” adding that it is a privilege to have her as his life partner.
He also asked the public not to drag his parents into the issue, saying, “Ang mga magulang ko naman ay may edad na po… hindi din sila showbiz at tahimik lang sila na namumuhay, wag naman sana sila bigyan ng isyu.”
The actor stressed that everything is fine between them, sharing, “Mahal na mahal ko po silang lahat at maayos ang samahan namin kahit di man kami madalas nagkakasama dahil sadyang busy ang aming mga schedules.”
He ended his message by urging everyone to choose kindness: “2026 na po, magfocus nalang tayo sa pagiging mabuting tao… Maiksi lang ang buhay, piliin natin maging masaya at mabuti araw araw.”
Earlier, Jennylyn’s manager Becky Aguila also denied the rumors, calling them “not true.”
She praised the actress, saying, “Jen is the most genuine, sweetest, nicest, most loving, kindest, respectful and generous alaga I have,” and added, “It’s 2026. Spread love and joy! Wag ganyan. Dennis’s family is very private. Wag sila idamay.”
