Business tycoon Chavit Singson addressed rumors linking him to former child star Jillian Ward in a recent interview.
Speaking on “The Men’s Room,” hosted by Stanley Chi and Janno Gibbs, Singson responded to renewed discussion connecting him to the young Kapuso actress.
Jillian has previously faced persistent malicious rumors, including claims that she allegedly had a sugar daddy or sponsor due to her “lavish” lifestyle seen online. Singson’s name was also dragged into the allegations, which Ward has repeatedly and strongly denied.
When Chi asked whether there was any truth to reports that he knew Jillian, Singson replied, “Hindi pa. Sa awa ng Diyos, hindi pa.”
Singson said that quarters wanted them to meet and hoped that it would happen so that they could supposedly deny the rumors together.
“Pero may inimbita yata, may may magpapakilala [sa amin] para pareho naming i-dedeny para mawala na. Kasi nagde-deny ako, nagde-deny siya, parang naglolokohan lang. Kaya kailangan mag-meet kami para pareho namin i-deny, explain everything,” he shared.
Earlier, Singson appeared in a vlog with Yen Santos, another actress previously linked to him, and they both denied the rumors.
Asked further if they had truly never met, Singson said, “Di pa. Sana nga,” prompting laughter from both him and the hosts.
When asked for a message to Jillian, he joked, “Sana nga maging totoo.”
Ward had strongly issued a denial in an interview, “I never met him. Never po kami nagkausap. I never met him. Hindi ko nga po alam kung kilala niya po ako eh. Hindi po talaga kami magkakilala.”
