Comedian and character actor Philip Supnet, better known as “Kuhol,” has passed away at the age of 66.
His death was confirmed by his sister, Carol Supnet, in a Facebook post, where she also shared details of his wake. “Share your laughter in heaven, Manong Philip… We will miss you, our ‘little-big’ brother… We love you,” she wrote.
Supnet, whose full name is Doughlas Arthur Supnet, was a familiar sidekick in films and television during the 1990s and early 2000s.
He appeared in several popular comedy films, including Juan & Ted: Wanted (2000), Walang Iwanan… Peksman! (2002), Matalino Man ang Matsing, Naiisahan Din! (2000), and Juan Tamad at Mr. Shooli: Mongolian Barbecue.
Supnet’s wake will be held at the Ascension of Our Lord Parish in Quezon City from December 23 to 26.
