Kapuso actress Carla Abellana recently appeared to subtly confirm her engagement with her unnamed partner, fueling talk of a wedding happening very soon.
On Monday, Dec. 1, Carla shared an Instagram photo showing her left hand wearing a ring on her ring finger while holding another person’s hand.
Her caption included several white heart emojis and a Bible verse: “Jeremiah 29:11: ‘For I know the plans I have for you,’ declares the LORD, ‘plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you a hope and a future.’”
Fans and fellow celebrities, including Jodi Sta. Maria, Max Collins, Rhian Ramos, Rita Daniela, and Jackie Lou Blanco, quickly poured the comment section with congratulatory messages.
“Aysuuuus!!!! Ang ganda ganda ng kwento na ito. Congratulations guys.. [Carla and] your forever partner!”, Chynna Ortalezo wrote.
“Congrats Manang Carla! You deserve all the happiness,” Rabiya Mateo added.
“I’m so happy for you, dearest Carla! The Lord bless you in every way! Love you Carla,” commented Coney Reyes.
Abellana had previously confirmed in August that she is dating someone. She also addressed marriage rumors in October, stating that she prefers to keep such matters private:
“Kung totoo man po ‘yun o hindi, of course, that’s part of my private life. I would like to keep it private. I invoke my right to self-incrimination, so I refuse to say yes, I refuse to say no,” she told GMA News at the time.
Carla was previously married to actor Tom Rodriguez until their divorce in 2022.
