The Philippine pop music scene is buzzing with excitement as the PPOP Music Awards marks its remarkable 10th anniversary.
Despite the many challenges faced through the years, this award-giving platform has remained committed to its mission. Now known as the PPOP Music Awards or the Philippine Popular Music Awards, it has grown significantly and left a lasting mark on the industry.
The journey began in 2016, led by Jhon Mark “Yuan” Quiblat, a passionate advocate of Filipino music, culture, and the arts. His steadfast belief in the talent of young Filipino artists has helped ensure their contributions to Philippine pop culture receive the recognition they deserve.
In 2025, P-Pop has truly reached new heights, emerging as a dynamic force in the music industry. Numerous groups have launched and debuted from various talent management and entertainment agencies, marking important milestones in the flourishing world of P-pop.
This growth has made many proud of the exceptional Filipino pop artists representing today’s generation. The resurgence is evident in sold-out concerts, chart-topping hits, and engaging online programs and TV shows that highlight PPOP talents. With rising commercial success, brand endorsements, and a growing presence on the global music stage, the PPOP community continues to thrive and dominate social media trends.

Nominees were determined through a nomination poll and are now moving into the evaluation phase, following the established guidelines based on songs, albums, music videos, and public appearances released between November 2024 and November 2025. Winners in the major categories will be decided by a respected awards jury composed of professionals from the music industry, government agencies, and entertainment sectors. Their goal is to select winners who reflect the public’s preferences while upholding the objectives of the PPOP Music Awards.

The PPOP Stage pre-show will highlight some of the newest PPOP idols from Cebu—VLST, DIV9, Rey Cariaso, Anna, Gem&I, and Everchild—leading into a lively red carpet program and an exciting awards show with performances from top PPOP stars: MNL48, CALISTA, CLOUD 7, YGIG, ONE VERSE, 6ENSE, AZTER, NEO, SY.NC, PIXIE, VVINK, and Mindanao’s ONE SOUTH. Award presenters, media personalities, and more surprises will also grace the event.
This momentous celebration of 10 years of Pinoy Pop excellence happens on November 29, 2025 (Saturday) at the historic Metropolitan Theater.
