TV host and personality Kim Atienza and his family are mourning the unexpected passing of his daughter Emman.
In a statement released by the Atienza family on Friday, October 24, they expressed their deep sadness over Emman’s death, remembering her as a source of “joy, laughter, and love” to everyone who knew her.
“Emman had a way of making people feel seen and heard, and she wasn’t afraid to share her own journey with mental health. Her authenticity helped so many feel less alone,” the family said in a joint statement on social media.
The Atienzas also asked the public to honor Emman’s memory by carrying forward the values she lived by: “compassion, courage, and kindness.”
“To honor Emman’s memory, we hope you carry forward the qualities she lived by: compassion, courage, and a little extra kindness in your everyday life,” the statement concluded, signed by Kuya Kim, his wife Felicia, and children Jose and Eliana.
As of writing, the family has requested privacy as they grieve this heartbreaking loss.
Emman, born Emmanuelle Atienza in 2006, was the youngest daughter of Kuya Kim and his wife, Felicia.
