Daniel Padilla has broken his silence on rumors linking him to his former “Incognito” co-star Kaila Estrada.
In an interview with ABS-CBN entertainment reporter MJ Felipe, the actor addressed the speculations about his love life, asking not to put pressure on matters of his heart.
“Huwag na nating i-pressure ‘yung sarili natin, huwag na nating ilagay sa ganun, i-showbiz pa ‘yun pero you get my point. Lalabas at lalabas, pero ayoko lang na may naghihintay na alam mo ‘yun, huwag na. Hayaan na nating mangyari ang mga mangyayari,” he said.
Daniel also emphasized that he prefers to keep things private and not turn them into showbiz talk.
“Huwag niyo na muna kaming kulitin, just let it be. Hayaan na lang nating mangyari ang mga bagay. And again, ayoko siyang maging showbiz eh. Well, ‘di pa rin naman maiiwasan ‘di ba, pero may choice pa rin naman ako, ‘di ba?”
Daniel and Kaila were earlier caught in romance speculations when entertainment reporter and talent manager Ogie Diaz reported that the two are dating following several sightings of them together.
The actor was in South Korea to receive his Outstanding Asian Star (Philippines) award at the 2025 Seoul International Drama Awards.
