Alexa Miro has confirmed her split with her unnamed longtime boyfriend, revealing that a fellow actress was the alleged third party in their relationship.
During a TikTok livestream on Sunday, September 22, Alexa addressed questions from her followers regarding her breakup, confirming that her on-and-off relationship with her partner lasted for about five years.
Alexa explained why she never publicly acknowledged their relationship, saying her ex did not want her to confirm it.
“Kakalat ’to sa aking ex-boyfriend na ayaw akong paaminin na naging kami. Bakit kaya? Isa rin ’yung palaisipan, ’di ba? Sino nagmukhang kilig na kilig sa media? E, di ako,” she said.
She also admitted that her ex had consistently denied her to the public whenever asked about their relationship, which fueled speculation that her former beau may be a celebrity.
This prompted some commenters to ask Alexa whether she was referring to the presidential son Sandro Marcos, whom she was previously romantically linked to. She, however, avoided addressing the question.
At one point in her livestream, she claimed a third party was involved in their relationship and directly named fellow actress Franki Russell.
Her statements came days after photos surfaced online of Franki vacationing with actor Enrique Gil in Bohol.
According to Alexa, she confronted Franki at a club after hearing of her connection with her then-boyfriend.
“Binastos niya pa ako sa club. Pinaiyak niya ako kasi kinausap ko siya… Sabi ko, ‘At the end of the day, it’s not just the girl’s fault and all I wanna know is if he said I love you.’ And I tried to touch her arm,” she recounted.
She claimed Franki pushed her hand away and told her: “He already chose you, right? So, get out of my face.”
Alexa said her best friend, actress Barbie Imperial, was by her side and comforted her during the confrontation.
Though she did not provide a timeline of when the breakup or confrontation took place, Alexa made her current relationship status clear: “Sabi ko nga magmu-move on ako. Ganon talaga pag single. Pakak! We all deserve better. Remember that.”
“We all deserve better. Remember that. We all deserve better. And it’s something that you should tell yourself every day. I deserve better. I deserve better than this. I deserve better than the life that I currently have, or if you’re grateful about your life, then better,” she added.
