Dead woman’s body found inside impounded car of ‘Here With Me’ singer D4vd — report

-

Internet was left horrified over police’s discovery of a woman’s decomposing corpse inside the impounded car of American singer-songwriter D4vd.

Los Angeles Police were responding to reports of a “foul-smelling odor” coming from an impounded Tesla at a tow yard in Hollywood when they uncovered human remains in the vehicle’s front trunk.

The car was registered in Hempstead, Texas, to D4vd, whose real name is David Anthony Burke. The 20-year-old artist with over 30 million listeners on Spotify, is known for his hit songs “Here With Me” and “Romantic Homicide”.

At the time, D4vd was performing in Minneapolis, according to his “Withered” world tour schedule. It can be recalled that he previously brought the same show in Manila last May.

According to ABC News, the vehicle had been in the tow yard for several days before the body was found sealed inside a bag.

The victim was described as a woman with wavy black hair, standing 5 feet 2 inches tall and weighing 71 pounds. She was wearing a tube top, black leggings, a yellow metal bracelet, and stud earrings, and had a tattoo on her right index finger that read “Shhh…”

Investigators said the woman appeared to have been dead for some time, though the cause of death has yet to be determined.

Following the discovery, D4vd has reportedly been cooperating with authorities. He, however, will continue his tour as scheduled.

His representative released a statement to NBC Los Angeles, saying: “D4vd has been informed about what’s happened. And, although he is still out on tour, he is fully cooperating with the authorities.”

The singer is scheduled to perform in Los Angeles on Sept. 20.
