The Korean Film Council has officially confirmed that rising star Han So-hee and veteran legend Choi Min-sik will play the lead roles in the upcoming Korean adaptation of the beloved 2015 Hollywood film The Intern.
Han So-hee will embody the role of Jules—a dynamic, fashion-forward CEO of an online startup—while Choi Min-sik brings depth and warmth to the role of the senior intern, a mentor figure.
Production is scheduled to begin in September 2025 under the direction of celebrated filmmaker Kim Do-young. The Hollywood version of “The Intern” achieved widespread success globally.
