After more than a decade, Enrique Gil and Julia Barretto are pairing up again in an upcoming TV series titled “Hello, Heaven,” directed by award-winning filmmaker Antoinette Jadaone.
According to reports from TV5’s newscast program “Frontline Pilipinas”, the series will explore themes about “second chances”, “miracles”, and a “mission”.
In an interview, Jadaone expressed her excitement about working with the two stars, describing the project as the pair’s “perfect comeback.”
Jadaone previously directed the romance series “On The Wing of Love” and “Till I Met You” which starred former love team James Reid and Nadine Lustre, as well as “Since I Found You”, topbilled by Piolo Pascual, Arci Munoz, and Alessandra De Rossi.
Hello, Heaven marks Enrique and Julia’s first on-screen pairing in years, following their last series together, “Mirabella”, in 2014.
The series is expected to premiere on TV5 later this year.
