Following her emotional pregnancy announcement, Bea Borres is setting the record straight amid growing online discourse about the identity of her baby’s father.
The actress and content creator, who recently shared a vlog documenting the moment she found out she was having a baby, recently clarified that she has no plans to co-parent. In a Facebook post, Bea firmly stated, “I’m really not gonna co-parent po with anyone.”
The conversation took a turn when Meray Yamada, also a content creator and Bea’s ex-boyfriend, declared his intention to be present in their child’s life and that he never intended to walk away. In a now deleted comment on TikTok, he expressed his desire to step up as a father and even referenced their baby’s gender.
“Things may have not worked between Bea and I, but I never said I didn’t want to be there for our baby,” he wrote. “I’m here. And I’m going to do whatever it takes to be the best father I can be. My daughter deserves nothing but the best and I will work every day to give her the life, love and support she deserves,” he added.
Bea responded through a TikTok video, stressing that she never publicly revealed the identity of the father or even the baby’s gender. In a comment, she expressed surprise that Meray made those details public, saying, “I never even revealed na siya yung dad.”
She also emphasized that she had no intention of naming the father or sharing more than what she already said. “Wala talaga akong balak magsalita, sabihin na siya yung tatay, but there you go,” she added.
