Actress and comedienne Rufa Mae Quinto is mourning the death of her estranged husband, Trevor Magallanes.
In a heartfelt message shared on Instagram, Rufa Mae expressed her deep sorrow and asked the public for prayers and privacy during this difficult time.
“I’m deeply saddened by this development. Hope you give us time to mourn his loss, especially my daughter. Just pray for us that we will get through this with the help of God,” she wrote, alongside throwback photos of them together.
She also appealed to the public to refrain from spreading unverified information: “Even us or his immediate family are still verifying what happened. So we kindly ask his friends or anyone to stop spreading fake news or mere speculations about his death.”
Rufa Mae added that she and her daughter are flying to the United States and requested everyone to await an official statement from her or Trevor’s family.
“Thank you very much and please give us respect and pray for us in this time of trial,” she said, concluding her post with: “Hanggang sa huli… Hanggang sa muli, Mahal kita Trev.”
In December 2024, Trevor revealed that he and Rufa Mae were undergoing divorce proceedings.
The couple got married in November 2016 and lived in the United States for several years. They welcomed their daughter, Athena, in February 2017.
