Filipino-Canadian actor Manny Jacinto (“The Acolyte,” “Top Gun: Maverick,” “The Good Place” is heading to Manila for Disney’s “Freakier Friday” world tour.
He is to have a special appearance at the exclusive red carpet premiere on August 5 at the SM Mall of Asia Main Atrium, a day before the film’s local release on August 6.
Freakier Friday reunites Jamie Lee Curtis and Lindsay Lohan who reprise their roles as Tess and Anna Coleman in a sequel that follows their lives years after the original identity-swap chaos. Now navigating blended family life, the two face another unexpected twist.
The film, directed by Nisha Ganatra and based on the book Freaky Friday by Mary Rodgers, also stars Julia Butters, Sophia Hammons, Maitreyi Ramakrishnan, and more.
The Manila event is presented by Globe, SM Mall of Asia, and SM Cinema.
