ABS-CBN reporter Izzy Lee once again caught the internet’s attention after a slip of the tongue during a live report amid the inclement weather.
While covering flooding in Manila brought on by the southwest monsoon (Habagat), Izzy mistakenly said, “…hanggang binti na ‘yung tuhod,” instead of describing the water level as knee-deep.
She later addressed the moment on Facebook, writing:”Sorry po, wala pang kain at tulog. Next time kakain muna ako para hindi na hanggang binti ang tuhod. Ingat sa baha, mga Kapamilya!”

The Kapamilya reporter is no stranger to going viral. In 2022, she trended when a homeless woman unexpectedly hugged her on-air.
“Hindi naman po ako kinabahan… mukhang gusto lang po ni Ma’am ay makita sa kamera kaya siya lumapit at dumikit sa akin,” she shared on DZMM Teleradyo’s Sakto program the following day.
