A 25-year-old lucky fan was in disbelief when she spent two minutes on stage with South Korean actor Park Seo-Joon during his recent fan meet in Manila.
In an exclusive interview with The Philippine STAR/LatestChika.com, Nicolette Escario recalled spending a special moment on stage with the “Itaewon Class” actor.
“Grabe di ko ine-expect. Sobrang happy po ako, hindi ko alam ang gagawin! Hindi pa rin ako makapaniwala talaga,” she said.
Escario won one of the games and was given two uninterrupted minutes with Seo-Joon.
“Sobrang lapit ng mukha niya. Ay, grabe! Ayyyy!! Baka hindi ako makatulog. Actually ‘yung hug, sabi ko, hug niya lang ‘yung pillow para maging kaamoy niya. Pero hinug niya ako,” she happily said.
Escario said that she was almost late for the event and was worried she couldn’t join the raffle for a chance to play with Seo-Joon during the fan meet.
“Actually, pang tatlo ko na fan meet di ko inexpect na magkaka up close and personal moment ako sa kanya. Sobrang happy ko,” she noted.
Escario was giggling when she narrated how Seo-Joon asked for her name and even wrote a special note for her. He also surprised her with a bouquet of flowers, and Century Tuna’s official merchandise.
Seo-joon starred in popular K-dramas, including “What’s Wrong With Secretary Kim,” “Fight For My Way,” “Itaewon Class,” and “Gyeongseong Creature.”
Seo-Joon last visited the Philippines in 2023. He came back this year for Century Tuna’s “Fit For Any Role: Park Seo-Joon The Ultimate Fan Fest” at the Araneta Coliseum in Quezon City on Saturday, July 12, 2025.
