While frontman Chris Martin performed “The Jumbotron Song,” which cues the big screen to show couples in the audience, the camera unexpectedly landed on Byron and Cabot sharing what appeared to be an intimate moment.
Byron looked visibly startled and quickly sat down to avoid the camera, while Cabot turned away and covered her face. Their “embarrassed” expressions have since sparked alleged illicit affair speculations.
Chris Martin jokingly commented, “Either they’re having an affair or they’re just very shy.”
