Online personality Sassa Gurl is taking a leap into filmmaking with her self-produced queer romance film “Multwoh”.
A day after Pride Month ended, Sassa Gurl made the announcement by posting the film’s official trailer on X on Tuesday night, July 1.
“Eto na yung prinoduce kong pelikula. Since walang pomopondo, tayo nalang mag-produce ng sarili nating kwento 🏳️🌈 MULTWOH Trailer,” she wrote, celebrating both queer storytelling and independent filmmaking.
Joining her in the film are Kapuso heartthrob Martin del Rosario, as well as her fellow content creators Gaia Poly and Pipay.
Multwoh’s director, Rod Singh, offered a glimpse into the film’s premise via her own post: “Some people say ‘I love you’ like it’s nothing. But for others, it takes a lifetime of silence, fear, and almosts—until finally, they’re ready to speak. What if death came before the words did? Because love, when buried too long, doesn’t rest in peace—it haunts.”
The release date and platform for Multwoh have yet to be announced, but fans and netizens are already expressing excitement over its concept and queer representation.
“This ate! Fr. I think we all need to see this.✨”, an X user commented on the trailer.
“That’s freaking mother right there!!! Sobrang deserve talaga ni Sassa na tawaging mima ng sangkabaklaan with everything she did, does, and will be doing 🥹 more power sayo ‘nay ✊🩷,” one netizen expressed their support.
“Sobrang nakaka proud kaaa [Sassa Gurl],” wrote another. [Please] support Multwoh ibubuhos namin ang puso namin para sa pelikulang ito ❤️🫶”
