The Superman film is kicking off its global tour in Manila, Philippines.
Filmmaker James Gunn, DC Studios co-head Peter Safran, and stars David Corenswet (Superman) and Rachel Brosnahan (Lois Lane) will meet Filipino fans at the SM Mall of Asia Music Hall on June 19.
The Superman team, made the announcement themselves in a video posted by Warner Bros. Pictures.
This marks the first stop on their world tour ahead of the film’s international release on July 9.
Directed by Gunn, “Superman” is the first DC Studios feature film, offering a fresh take on the iconic hero— blending epic action, humor and heart.The cast also includes Nicholas Hoult as Lex Luthor, alongside Edi Gathegi, Isabela Merced, and more.
The film opens in theaters and IMAX nationwide on July 9, distributed by Warner Bros. Pictures.
