Singer-actress Jayda Avanzado, daughter of Jessa Zaragoza and Dingdong Avanzado, expressed gratitude to the public after they noticed her resemblance with Miss Universe Philippines Ahtisa Manalo.
“Ay wow! Thank you so much! It’s such a big compliment. Kung nakita niyo po, napost ako sa TikTok noong pagkananalo siya, kami ng nanay ko, sobrang naproud kami sa kanya. Beauty with brains,” she said during an interview last May 15, 2025.
Jayda also flexes her mom, Jessa, as one of her influences in style and fashion
“Parang kapatid ko ‘yung nanay ko pagdating sa fashion. She does influence my style. Lagi akong nanghihiram ng kung ano-ano sa kanya nung mga sinosuot niya nung kabataan niya. She always encourages me to wear whatever looks good on my body. She’s all about empowering me,” she noted.
When describing her fashion style, Jayda said, “It’s a balance of fierce but also chill.” She also revealed that her influences are Sabrina Carpenter and Heart Evangelista.
“Freely experiment. Whatever makes you feel comfortable and kung ano man ‘yung makakapagpasaya sayo… Go for it! Finding your own personal style is an evolutionary process,” she said when asked about her message to people who are still finding out their own style.
